What is the end stages of alcoholism?swelling legs,multiple gallstones and a cyst was found on the kidney?
My x husband is a drinker. Only God knows when his time is up but I have two girls I need to prepair. If anyone has gone through this please help...he has multiple gallstones now and they will not take the gallbladder out because they said his liver is to bad. The surgery would be at high risk to do. He is swelling up exspecially his legs. My daughter also noticed his nose was bleeding alittle too. When does the body start to shut down? What are some signs? Thank You
Have a friend, who i think is in the late stages of alcoholism?
He is a lovely guy, who is very unhappy and now very ill.and frightened. he has agreed to see a doctor at last because last week his front teeth fell out...which i presume is due to some sort of deficiency. But he has also developed strange leison weepy type things on his face. What could they be? I know he doesnt look after himself.
What stage of alcoholism is he in?
1. has lost jobs, homes, relationships2. thinks drinking four to five beers a night is okay3. On weekends he binges bad, especially if we break up4. doesn't drink in the morning...waits until afternoon5. has stomach problems6. gets anxiety about not having a beer for more than two days7. goes back and forth between saying he is an alcoholic and then denies it.8. all his best friends are 24 hour a day, 7 days a week drunkhis priorities are backwards...his beer comes before his kidsIs this the first stage, second, third or fourth stage of alcoholism
